Paul Mizzi

Paul Mizzi is an experienced and proven leader in highly pressurised and high-risk situations.

He has a flexible approach to problem solving and thirty-five years of service in the British Army and Police Service prior to becoming a teacher.

Paul’s career started in the British Army Grenadier Guards where he maintained discipline and welfare for thirty soldiers and provided leadership and direction in an operational setting. After leaving the armed forces Paul then joined the Surrey Police and was promoted to Detective Inspector.

Activate Learning are now fortunate to have Paul sharing his experience through tutoring on our Public Services courses at Merrist Wood College, and most recently on the internet via our online learning platform.

Outside of work Paul’s passion is sport, being a qualified rugby coach and still playing both rugby and football. He enjoys weight training and other hobbies such as fishing, shooting and cooking.
