About the facilities

We are proud to be home to specialist learning facilities, such as the world-renowned Rycotewood Furniture Centre, which furniture manufacturers visit every year. Our learners there benefit from qualified feedback from industry professionals and use professional-standard equipment.

Our Learning Environment is a space for you to study and focus on your work. You will be able to book PCs, access resources and borrow books.

Despite its central location, the college’s riverside location is a peaceful and safe environment, with all the facilities you could need, including the latest classroom teaching equipment, art workshops, pottery spaces with gas-fired kilns, 3D printers, dedicated textile classrooms and more!

Our city-centre campus is just a five-minute walk from the train station, right next door to the Westgate shopping centre. It’s served well by buses and dedicated cycle routes, so however you choose to get here, it’ll be safe and convenient.

You can grab a drink or a bite to eat from one of several cafes and shops on campus or unwind and get pampered with a variety of hair and beauty treatments at The Salon. Discover our excellent facilities that are open to members of the public.

Walk and cycle
City of Oxford College city centre campus is in Oxford town centre, adjacent to the Westgate shopping centre and Oxford Ice Rink. We encourage our students to cycle to college as there is plenty of safe bike parking available on-site and cycle lanes locally.

Bus and train
If walking or cycling isn’t an option, City of Oxford College’s city-centre campus is well served by local buses into Oxford from most urban and rural areas in Oxfordshire.
If you are jumping on the train, our city-centre campus is just a ten-minute walk from Oxford Railway Station.

Car
We’re located on Oxpens Road. If you’re driving in, unfortunately, there is no student parking available. Westgate and Oxpens Road car parks are a stone’s throw away, although those can be expensive.
