Maths GCSE Part Time: Day

Course overview

Studying GCSE Maths will develop a positive attitude to mathematics and an appreciation of the place of maths in both employment and everyday life.

You will learn to think mathematically, to understand mathematical ideas and how to use them.

This is a great subject to help develop your analytical and problem solving skills.

The times for these classes vary, with classes in the day and evening, so please contact us and we will try to find a day and time suitable for you to study.

Please note: If you do not have a minimum Grade 4 (C) in English at GCSE level, then you can study this course for free! If you have already obtained a Grade 4 (C) or higher, fees may apply depending on your circumstances.

This is a GCSE Mathematics, delivered in one academic year. The course assesses students’ abilities to understand mathematical ideas and utilise mathematical techniques.

There are three core units:

number and algebra
geometry and algebra
statistics and number

You will need to complete a maths assessment to determine the most suitable starting point for your studies.
