Whether you’ve just bought a camera or have been relying on automatic mode, this workshop will help you take the first steps toward more creative photography. It also provides an ideal foundation for learners who wish to progress onto the Digital Photography for Beginners course.

 

During the workshop, you will: 

  • Get to know the main parts and controls of your camera 
  • Understand common camera settings and what they do 
  • Learn the basics of exposure (aperture, shutter speed and ISO) 
  • Explore shooting modes and when to use them 
  • Improve focus and composition 
  • Gain confidence moving beyond automatic mode 

You’ll learn through: 

  • Clear explanations and live demonstrations
