Sara learned to quilt as a teenager and has spent the last twenty years exploring different techniques and accumulating a very large collection of fabric! She loves modern quilting and intricate patterns with lots of detail. Her focus is machine piecing and needleturn applique, but she also enjoys English and foundation paper piecing. She has recently acquired a 12ft long arm machine and is having fun experimenting with computerised quilting and ruler work.
She is a member of the Oxfordshire Modern Quilters Guild. Her work has appeared in Love Patchwork & Quilting Magazine and fabric catalogues, as well as received recognition internationally in sew-along competitions. You’ll find an excellent article on her below!
