What do you enjoy about teaching adults?

I enjoy the challenge of teaching a wide age range, from weekly leisure drawing and painting classes online with seniors to workshops with teens for the Watts Gallery.

What got you into arts?

I have trained as an illustrator and love to draw and print. With four years of experience teaching 14-19 year olds in Further Education, I set up my home studio and worked as an art technician for three years. As an artist in residence at Ochre Print Studio in Guildford, I got the chance to draw everyone coming into the studio, attend masterclasses from print specialists, and make a whole body of work printed on paper and textiles. This led me to work with the heat press and use it to lead workshops at Woking’s Lightbox and Farnham Maltings.

I led the Big Draw in Farnham in 2020 which I used to focus on the drawing and collage techniques I love with all ages and abilities.
