City of Oxford College to welcome local jobseekers to Retail and Hospitality Employment Event

City of Oxford College will welcome local jobseekers their Retail and Hospitality Employment Event on Wednesday 16 November

City of Oxford College will host the event from 1:30–3:30pm at their City Centre campus.  

The event will give local people the opportunity to meet several local employers from the retail and hospitality industry. 

These employers are looking for staff such as checkout and sales assistants, security, baristas, bar tenders, chefs, waitresses and waiters, receptionists, porters, housekeepers alongside many more roles. 

Susan Lawson, Employer Engagement Specialist at City of Oxford College, said: “This event will shine a light on the myriad of roles and career paths available within the retail and hospitality sector across Oxfordshire.  

“It is an opportunity for people to meet local employers from food to fashion, all looking to fill a host of different positions and understand what it is like to work for them and how to apply for their roles.”
