The Certificate in Skin Peeling (60329105) is an advanced aesthetic qualification designed to develop the knowledge and practical skills required to perform professional chemical skin-peeling treatments safely and effectively. You’ll gain a deep understanding of skin anatomy, chemical agents, peeling depths, client assessment, and safe application techniques, enabling you to deliver controlled exfoliation treatments within clinical, beauty, and aesthetic environments.

You will study the following: 

  • Skin Structure and Function – epidermal layers, barrier function, wound-healing responses, and skin conditions relevant to chemical peeling. 
  • Chemical Agents and Peeling Depths – AHAs, BHAs, TCA, enzyme peels, superficial vs. medium-depth peels, and treatment indications. 
  • Advanced Consultation and Client Assessment – contraindications, patch testing, risk management, informed consent, and treatment planning. 
  • Safe Application Techniques
  • Health, Safety and Compliance
  • Client Aftercare and Recovery 

You’ll learn through: 

  • practical sessions using professional equipment

You’ll be assessed through a mix of:

You’ll need a Level 3 qualification in beauty therapy, aesthetics or a related field. You should be confident carrying out skin treatments and working with clients. 


You’ll also need to buy a kit, uniform, and stationery.
