Course overview
Join Lia Jayne, proud member and team captain of Team Groom England, for
an educational seminar showcasing one of the most iconic poodle trims – the
Miami Trim.
Working on her Standard Poodle, Rain, Lia will demonstrate every stage of
creating a balanced, stylish, and competition-worthy Miami Trim. Throughout the
demonstration, she’ll explain her techniques, coat preparation, clipper and
scissoring methods, and the importance of symmetry, proportion, and finish.
As an added bonus, Lia will also discuss the lines and preparation for a
German Trim on her other Standard Poodle, Thor, sharing how she maps out the
pattern and the key differences between the two styles.
The seminar will conclude with an interactive Q&A session, giving you the
opportunity to ask Lia questions about technique, styling, competition grooming,
and professional grooming practices.
