Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants Level 2

Through practical and theory lessons in the grooming parlour.  Assessment is via portfolio of evidence, practical observation assessments and theory exams.

Staff can also support a wide variety of learning difficulties and disabilities and support may be provided if there is evidence that this is an appropriate way to help you (funding permitting).

There are no formal qualification entry requirements for this course. It is recommended that you complete the Grooming for Beginners course and will need to show competency in grooming through questioning at interview (this could be over the phone or in person)

Other related courses or progression into employment in a range of establishments including grooming parlours and kennels.

Once you enrol on a course, you will be contacted by a member of the Dog Grooming team for a phone or face to face interview.  Your suitability and experience for the programme will be discussed, as well as any individual needs you may have.
