Get into the festive spirit with a hands-on, creative day of lino printing!

In this one-day Christmas Lino Printing Card Workshop, you’ll learn how to carve your own Christmas or seasonal-themed lino blocks and transform them into beautiful handmade cards. Whether you’re new to printmaking or looking to refresh your skills, this relaxed and friendly session is the perfect way to explore your creativity and make something truly special for the season.

Expect plenty of inspiration, expert guidance from Camilla Sopwith, and a joyful atmosphere as we celebrate the art of printmaking with a festive twist.

All tools and materials are included in the workshop fee, and you’ll leave with a set of handmade cards and your carved lino block to use again at home!

 

You’ll learn all the necessary lino printing techniques needed to create your cards:

  • How to design a simple, effective Christmas or seasonal motif for lino printing
  • Techniques for safely carving your design into lino
  • Inking and printing methods to achieve crisp, clean prints
  • How to create a small edition of handmade cards using your design
  • Tips for experimenting with colour, layering, and embellishments

You’ll be guided through the entire process:

  • Step-by-step demonstrations from an experienced tutor
  • Hands-on practice with individual support throughout the day
  • Time to experiment and refine your technique
  • All necessary materials are provided for use during the workshop
