- Activate Learning’s Community Wellbeing courses are free to those who meet the selected entry criteria detailed below:
- Living in England (but not in a devolved region) and do not have one of the following visa types:
- Student visa
- Holiday/visitor visa
- Skilled worker, health care worker, temporary worker, Global mobility or scale-up visa
- A visa that imposes restrictions on study
- aged 19 or over (at the start of the course) AND:
- is employed and earning an annual salary of less than £25,750
- unemployed, in receipt of state benefits and looking for work
- has a social or emotional difficulty or challenges with mental health or emotional wellbeing
- meets specific alternative criteria for targeted courses (details in course outline)
2. The learner will be required to create and commit to an Individual Learning Plan in agreement with the tutor. Failure to complete this may result in withdrawal from the course.
3. The Community Wellbeing courses are funded by the Department for Education. This funding is reviewed each academic year.

6. Please note that course times and dates are subject to change. It may be necessary to change tutors or to reschedule, cancel, or combine courses.
7. You will be required to provide materials for online courses and recommendations will be provided as to what you will need.
8. Please note that some courses are delivered entirely online. When enrolling in these courses, it is the learner's responsibility to ensure they have access to appropriate IT. We are unable to provide support or hardware to enable access to these courses.
9. Activate Learning is required to check and prove that students have permission to study in the UK throughout the whole period of their study. You will be asked to provide evidence that confirms your ability to study in the UK.
10. Due to limited available funding, eligible students may be restricted to only one free Community Wellbeing course per academic year, running from August 1 to July 31.
