Throughout the year, we run many ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses that could suit your needs.
You can learn conversational English or study for exams such as Cambridge First, Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE), and the Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) exam.
You will study all aspects of the English language: speaking and listening, reading and writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
If you are not a British citizen or you want to extend your visa, we can also help you to prepare for UK Visa Extension and ‘Life in the UK’ exams with our citizenship courses.
Because of the high demand for English language lessons, we have made a range of courses that will support the large number of asylum seekers who are hoping to enrol onto our courses at our colleges.
We are working with local authorities and charities to help refugees and asylum seekers get the essential skills that they need to transition into life and work in the United Kingdom.

There are different levels of ESOL classes so when you apply, you will come for an assessment to check which level class would be the best for you to join. You will study all aspects of the English language, including: speaking and listening, reading and writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
Courses are part-time, in the daytime or evening.
Courses are divided into three terms and the cost for each term is £260. This might be lower, or higher, depending on your personal circumstances. Please see our funding page for more details.

My teachers are very professional; they understand how it is difficult for foreigners to improve our skillset and they support us through our studying.Mariyana, ESOL
