Creative Sewing Adventures (WHH) (Tues)
Course overview
Across the weeks, you’ll work through a series of hands-on projects that introduce essential sewing techniques. You’ll begin by getting comfortable with your sewing machine and creating your own stitch directory. From there, you’ll move on to a range of small makes—such as a fabric bowl, pincushion, tote bag, cushion cover, or zipped pouch—each designed to help you practise different skills, from choosing fabrics and accurate cutting to decorative stitching and professional finishing.
You’ll enjoy a blend of learning, creativity and practical making. By the end of the course, you’ll have a collection of handmade creations and the confidence to continue sewing at home.

All essential materials are provided, and sewing machines are available for use.
You’ll need to bring approximately 2 metres of fabric for your projects, or you can purchase fabric directly from us.
During the first week of the course, the tutor will guide you on suitable fabric choices and the specific quantities needed for each project.
