Saba Malik — ICT Teacher and Advocate for Girls in Tech

Saba is passionate about empowering the next generation of female tech leaders.

Saba Malik is an ICT teacher at The Leys College, Oxford, teaching coding to post-16 students since 2021. She holds an MS in Computer Science (2013) and a BS in Computer Science (2009), and previously served as an Assistant Professor in Pakistan, teaching undergraduate Computer Science.

Her work in tech education has earned international recognition: TechWomen Emerging Leader Award, Washington D.C., 2017 and Faculty Scholarship Recipient – Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC’18), Houston, USA.

Saba is Co-director of WEMPOWERED CIC, supporting mothers and children in Oxford through connection, wellbeing, and growth. She also founded WEEPRO CODING School, an online school that makes coding accessible and engaging for learners from all backgrounds.
