Our hands-on lino printing workshop is led by Camilla Sopwith, an experienced printmaker with over 10 years of teaching experience, whose patient and encouraging approach makes learning new techniques accessible and enjoyable for all skill levels.

You’ll learn:

  • Designing your print – Create your own unique image or pattern to carve into a lino block.
  • Carving techniques – Learn how to safely and effectively use specialist lino-cutting tools.
  • Inking and printing methods – Experiment with different inking techniques and paper choices.
  • Creating multiple prints – Discover how to reproduce your design for cards, gifts, or art pieces.

You’ll create and take home:

  • Your own carved lino block (5″ × 7″) – so you can keep printing at home!
  • At least three prints of your design – ready to frame or gift.
  • The skills and confidence to continue your printmaking journey.

All Materials Provided – Just Bring Your Creativity!

We supply everything you need, including:

  • Linoleum block
  • Professional carving tools (for use during the workshop)
  • A selection of high-quality papers
  • Water-based printing inks
  • Design materials and transfer paper

All you need to bring:

  • An apron or old shirt to protect your clothes
  • Feel free to bring along any inspiration for your design!
  • Tea and coffee are available onsite for a small donation, or you can bring along your own
