Join us on Sunday, November 23rd (9:30am – 4:00pm) for a comprehensive, in-depth first aid course with Sophie Bell, vet, dog groomer, and founder of Animal Love Pet First Aid.

While this course mostly covers dogs, it also includes important first aid information for cats and other small animals. It is suitable for pet owners, those working in animal-related businesses, and individuals training to become a vet or veterinary nurse.

 

Topics covered include:

  • Shock, CPR, practical bandaging, bleeding
  • Drowning & choking, temperature/pulse/respiration, signs of pain
  • Road traffic accidents (RTA), bites & stings
  • Pyometra, gastric dilation volvulus (GDV), seizures, diabetes
  • Ear & eye problems, hypo/hyperthermia, wound management
  • Kennel cough, vomiting & diarrhoea, paw & tail problems
