Join a community of amazing girls aged 12-15 who are passionate about technology, creativity, and changing the world through code. No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and dreams!
‘Oxford Girls Who Code’ will provide girls with:
- hands-on coding projects to build foundational skills
- opportunities to develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity
- exposure to various STEM career pathways
- a support network of like-minded peers and women in tech
- interaction with female role models in STEM, challenging gender stereotypes
- 12 seats, 12-15 years of age, girls only
Your journey will be guided by the inspirational Saba Malik – ICT Teacher and Advocate for Girls in Tech.
Saba is passionate about empowering the next generation of female tech leaders. As an ICT teacher at The Leys College, Oxford, she’s been inspiring young coders since 2021 with her expertise in Computer Science and dedication to making tech accessible for everyone.

With her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, plus experience teaching internationally, Saba brings both expertise and genuine care for helping girls discover their potential in tech.

We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday 6:00-7:30pm

MEET YOUR TUTOR/MENTOR
Saba Malik – ICT Teacher and Advocate for Girls in Tech
Saba Malik is an ICT teacher at?The Leys College, Oxford, teaching coding to post-16 students since 2021. She holds an?MS in Computer Science (2013)?and a?BS in Computer Science (2009), and previously served as an?Assistant Professor in Pakistan, teaching undergraduate Computer Science.
Her work in tech education has earned international recognition: TechWomen Emerging Leader Award, Washington D.C., 2017 and Faculty Scholarship Recipient?– Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC’18), Houston, USA.
Saba is the?Founder and Director of WEMPOWERED CIC, supporting mothers and children in Oxford through?connection, wellbeing, and growth. She also founded?WEEPRO CODING School, an online school that makes coding accessible and engaging for learners from all backgrounds.
