Electric bicycles (e-bikes) are becoming increasingly important in our everyday lives as a key mode of green transportation. As a result, the cycle industry needs more trained and skilled bicycle technicians to service and maintain this growing sector of the bicycle market.
This training programme leads to industry recognised, trade qualifications for someone looking to train as a professional bicycle mechanic for a career within the cycle industry. It delivers the technical skills, experience and qualifications to carry out a wide range of bike servicing tasks on pedal-assist e-bikes.
This Green Skills Bootcamp in Cycle Maintenance is made up of several of the industry-leading Cytech technical courses, combined to create this Skills Bootcamp training programme. It delivers Cytech technical one, technical two and Cytech e-bike over a short block period in our dedicated training workshop in Blackbird Leys, Oxford. Our workshop is designed to cater to individuals of all skill levels and provide hands-on learning experiences with state-of-the-art equipment and tools.
Cytech is the internationally recognised training and accreditation scheme for bicycle technicians.
Starting with the foundation Cytech Level 1 theory and practical course, learners then progress to the Level 2 course, regarded as the industry standard qualification for a professional cycle mechanic, before completing the technical e-bike course.
