What subjects do you teach?
Practical arboriculture, including maintenance, felling, climbing, aerial tree work, wood chipper and stump grinder.
How many years have you been teaching?
I have been at Merrist Wood College for 15 years, covering a variety of both full time and part-time leisure courses. I have also taught the Tree Surgery for craftsmen course.
What do you enjoy about teaching adults?
Activate Learning learners are a pleasure to teach, they want to learn in a professional environment with a proven heritage in the subject area.
What got you into arboriculture?
A general interest in the subject area
What other passions do you have?
My family and I enjoy cycling.
