“What I enjoy at Activate Learning is how ambitious and open to new ideas the organisation is. “

Her work with animals has been a focus of her academic and personal life, as she works closely with companion creatures.

“I have worked for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, and later spent a few years working as a dog trainer and pet behaviour counsellor. Currently I am completing a PhD in dog cognition at the University of Sussex.

Animals have been my real passion since I was a little girl.

I am a proud owner of two rescue dogs, Max and Emma, and I love taking them for long walks. I also enjoy fostering kittens for the RSPCA – seeing them grow and go to new, loving homes is a truly rewarding experience.
