Coronavirus update

Covid-19 safety for learners 19+

Our welcoming, vibrant campuses are open to learners, including adult learners.

We are carefully monitoring government guidance during this time. Please keep checking our website to stay up-to-date.

Steps we are taking to keep you safe

We are working within the most up-to-date Government guidelines to ensure that we’re able to carry on providing our courses in the safest possible way. COVID-19 has meant having to adapt some of the ways in which we deliver our learning experience, but we want you to know that whatever happens, we will make sure you’re kept informed and updated and you understand what the implications will be for you and your course.

Enrolments/booking a course

We will be asking you to follow the instructions sent to you via email when you have booked your course. If you are not able to access emails or online information, please call 0800 612 6008 for help and advice.

Welcoming learners to our campuses

Our college campuses are friendly and well-equipped with their own character and features. They'll provide you with the right environment in which to learn, relax and make friends.

Face coverings

Staff, students and visitors should now wear face coverings in communal areas and classrooms, unless exempt.

Control measures

Please help us control the spread of the Coronavirus by:

  • Ensuring you maintain good hand hygiene, using hand sanitiser and soap
  • Following the ‘Catch it, bin it, kill it’ approach to respiratory hygiene
  • Following public health advice on testing, self-isolation and managing confirmed cases of COVID-19 if you develop COVID-19 symptoms or have a positive test

We will keep classroom spaces well ventilated, in line with public health advice.

You should not come into college if you have symptoms or other reasons requiring you to stay at home due to the risk of you passing on COVID-19 (for example, if you have a positive test).

It is now possible to end self-isolation after five days. This must follow two negative LFD tests taken 24 hours apart. Please note that the first LFD test should not be taken before the fifth day.

Cleaning and hygiene on college sites

We carry out regular sanitising and disinfecting of all our college sites on a regular basis. We also have an increased cleaning regime and ensure busier areas of the campus are cleaned more regularly.

If you are unable to attend your course due to COVID-19, you may be entitled to a refund. Please refer to the fees policy for more information. Please let us know at the earliest convenience of any issues.

Please do not come on site if you are showing any signs of COVID-19 or have recently come into contact with others known to have it.

Speak to someone in our Advice and Admissions team who will be able to support you over the phone or online.
