Summer Designs without Oasis

Course overview

Summer designs without oasis is a way of exploring and using different mediums to arrange your flowers, which are more environmentally friendly and can be obtained easily. You will be encouraged to use seasonal materials which could be sourced from your garden alongside flowers purchased from a commercial source.

During this five-week evening course you will explore and create beautiful summer designs without the assistance of oasis.

PLEASE NOTE: The fees do not include flowers, you are required to provide your own flowers and will be sent a scheme of works advising which flower/sundries to bring each week.

Designs will include:

  • A gift-wrapped hand tie design
  • Arrangement using a vase and bear grass
  • Floral design in a container using copper mesh/chicken wire
