Parent-Child Art Workshop
We run regular art workshops for children and their guardians on Saturday afternoons during term time.
A child attends with a parent, grandparent, special caring adult or caregiver. Everyone then works on their own art projects separately at their own individual level.
Using imagination, observation and problem-solving skills, the children and adults experiment with materials and tools, making discoveries and expressing their ideas through paintings, clay sculpture, collage projects and in many other media.
One adult is required for every child. Class size is limited to 12 children.
We also run Junior Saturday Art clubs too, so search for “Junior Saturday Art” or browse our courses for juniors to find a club in your area!
There are a limited number of FREE places available on this course, for those aged 19 and over (at the start of the course) and who either have a mental health condition or difficulty, are employed and earning an annual salary less than £17,004 per annum, in receipt of state benefit in your own name and unemployed or working and earning less than £338 per month (or £541 for household claims), are a single parent, or have a social or emotional difficulty.
