Life Drawing for Beginners
During the course, you will produce a portfolio of work capturing the human form through a range of artistic approaches.
You will do this by gradually building upon your observational drawing skills through the application of key techniques, which relate specifically to life drawing. These methods will be inspired by a range of contemporary and historical artists that are renowned for their representations of the human form.
Using a range of media, you will have the opportunity to draw life models and build confidence in your figure drawing.
Useful reading materials and resources will be provided so that you can expand your creative methods outside of the session.

Across the five weeks, you will learn a range of transferable and observational techniques to produce a range of experiments and one refined outcome.

Upon completion of this course, it is likely that you will be ready to progress onto one of our intermediate art courses, but your tutor will be happy to discuss your options with you at the appropriate time.
