Our employability skills courses are usually available completely FREE of charge, subject to meeting the criteria. Please enquire for details.
This is an opportunity to gain a certified and fully-funded qualification, delivered online. The course allows you to gain a deeper understand the role of a Learning Support Assistant and develop the skills needed to become an effective LSA.
Theory sessions will be taught online and set tasks will be linked to a LSA role in the workplace.

Delivery: This course is delivered across three weeks. There will be 9 days delivered online by the college, plus observation days with local employers.
Available dates:
- 18-28 Sept (Mon, Tues, Thurs x 2)
- 5-20 Dec (Tue-Thu, Mon-Wed, Mon-Wed)
- 15-30 April (Mon-Fri, Mon-Wed, Mon-Wed)
Assessment: On successful completion of this course, you’ll be awarded: Laser Level 1 in Learning for Employment and Progression, Level 1 Resilience and Grit, and Level 1 Mental Health and Wellbeing.
