Course overview

We provide End Point Assessment for electrical apprentices, trainees, and experienced workers through the NET AM2/AM2S/AM2E assessment schemes.

Activate Learning runs all the courses that lead to an AM2 assessment. Contact us to enrol.

Please note: the End Point Assessment falls under three categories and the fees differ for each one. Please find a breakdown of the course fees below:

AM2:

The fee for this course is £770.

The AM2 should be taken by electrotechnical apprentices who are training against the Apprenticeship Framework, those undertaking the JIB Mature Candidate Assessment and those following the Level 3 NVQ who are not apprentices.

AM2S (Apprenticeship Standard):

The fee for this course is £860.

The AM2S should be taken by electrotechnical apprentices who are training against the Apprenticeship Standard.

AM2E (Experienced):

The AM2E is for experienced workers who are completing the Experienced Worker Assessment (EWA).

If you have non-UK qualifications, you can only take the AM2E as the final step in the EWA process. It cannot be taken on a stand-alone basis. Please read the guidance on the ECS website.
