Digital Photography for Beginners
If you are new to digital photography and have a DSLR, or Bridge camera and are looking to improve your images then this is the course for you. You will learn how to move out of the automatic shooting modes and take control of your camera to produce the pictures that you really want to.
There are a limited number of FREE places available on this course, for those aged 19 and over (at the start of the course) and who either have a mental health condition or difficulty, are employed and earning an annual salary less than £17,004 per annum, in receipt of state benefit in your own name and unemployed or working and earning less than £338 per month (or £541 for household claims), are a single parent, or have a social or emotional difficulty.
You will learn the essential operations of a Digital SLR, to shoot in manual and some simple post-processing techniques.
This course provides no formal qualification but will enable you to either develop your personal use of a DSLR or to progress on to Advanced Digital Photography or Photoshop for Beginners.
This is a very hands-on, practical course. You will need to bring your own camera. A Digital SLR is essential.
Access to a computer and printer is useful.
The course helps you develop the creative use of your camera. It will involve some optional homework to fully benefit from the teaching.
