Our employability skills courses are usually available completely FREE of charge, subject to meeting the criteria. Please enquire for details.
This course is aimed at anyone needing support finding and applying for a job. It covers all the steps taken in the job application process: finding, applying and interviewing.
Key Content and Course Objectives:
- Job searching: suitable websites and how to tailor your searching.
- CV writing: all participants will complete the course with a completed CV
- Interview Skills: all participants will participate in a mock interview
- Job applications: completing forms and application letters

Delivery: This course is delivered over 3 days, with a choice of dates:
City of Oxford College: 25-27 Sept (Mon-Wed) / 19-22 Feb (Mon, Tues, Thu) / 13-16 May (Mon, Tue, Thu)
Assessment: You’ll complete a portfolio of evidence through the course, which includes your CV and a set of worksheets.
On successful completion of this course, you’ll be awarded: Laser Level 1 Award in Skills for Employment.
