This course is aimed at anyone needing support finding and applying for a job. It covers finding, applying and interviewing for jobs.

Key Content and Course Objectives:

  • Job searching: suitable websites and how to tailor your searching.
  • CV writing: all participants will complete the course with a completed CV
  • Interview Skills: all participants will participate in a mock interview
  • Job applications: completing forms and application letters

Delivery: This course is delivered over 3 days, with a choice of dates:

Blackbird Leys Technology Campus: 8-10 Jan (Mon-Wed) / 4-6 Jun (Tue-Thu)

 

Assessment: You’ll complete a portfolio of evidence through the course, which includes your CV and a set of worksheets.

On successful completion of this course, you’ll be awarded: Laser Level 1 Award in Skills for Employment.
