Community Wellbeing: Art and Craft (Hill View School)

Course overview

PLEASE NOTE: This is one of our Community Learning courses. It is available FREE OF CHARGE subject to meeting eligibility requirements. 

Venue: Hillview, Banbury, Every Wednesday, 1.15 – 3.15pm, 17 April – 10 July.

This course is designed for anyone who wants unleash their creative side and to learn new crafts and art methods.

You’ll gain the knowledge of how to work with different artistic materials and you’ll gain confidence through trying different types of art and crafts.

The only entry requirement is a willingness to learn.

Our Community Wellbeing programme offers a series of FREE*, government-funded courses to develop skills, knowledge, confidence and improve mental wellbeing for adults. Participation can help those managing mental health conditions that have a mild-moderate impact on their day-to-day lives.

You need to be aged 19 or over (at the start of the course) AND:

  • employed and earning an annual salary of less than £25,000 or
  • unemployed, in receipt of state benefits and looking for work
  • have a social or emotional difficulty or challenges with mental health or emotional wellbeing
* If you earn above the £25K threshold, courses will be charged at £5 per hour.
