Course overview

If ever you’ve felt like getting creative with arts and crafts whilst making some new friends, then you’ve come to the right place.

Come and join us and bring your shared experiences, a willingness to try something new and an open mind.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to enjoy our excellent facilities!

There are a limited number of FREE places available on this course, for those aged 19 and over (at the start of the course) and who either have a mental health condition or difficulty, are employed and earning an annual salary less than £17,004 per annum, in receipt of state benefit in your own name and unemployed or working and earning less than £338 per month (or £541 for household claims), are a single parent, or have a social or emotional difficulty.

This is a vibrant programme for people who are looking to take up a new hobby or expand their creative skills.

As you continue with different projects, you will grow and develop in confidence and begin to experiment with different materials, textures and styles.

You will gain a sense of achievement in learning something new and meet interesting like-minded people.

You will work with various mediums and stretch your skills and experience with paints, pencil, and crafts.

The 60+ Saturday Art and Craft Club caters for people 60 years and older. All abilities are welcome.

The only limit is your imagination, helped with a little inspiration from your tutor, together with a full access to a variety of facilities and materials on site.
